Sorry to say goodbye:: A really sad farewell
Vicki and I were at the viewing Thursday evening and then the Services and the Cemetery, Friday.

Curtis got the farewell that he deserved. There were loads of family, friends and old customers to say their Goodbye and thank you, to a Man that led a wonderful life. He was a renown technician, a devoted Husband, Father, Grand Father and Great Grand Father and above all simply put, A good and caring Man.

We were blessed in knowing him for almost 25 years and his being truly a great friend, a devoted employee. HE was Lighthouse Marine.

We will never have him far from our thoughts and will be staying close to Marguerite and all of the family.

Thank you Curtis for the privilege you gave us for almost 25 years.
Sorry to say goodbye:: My apologies
I took this part of the forum private to keep away the Spam and just opened it today for anyone that wanted to say something about Curtis. I will try as best I can to keep deleting the trash, but I can not monitor 24/7. When I see it I will get rid of it.

Sorry I had to revert to the private mode. The Spammers had no respect for this thread.

Lighthouse is History [by Howard]

Sorry to say goodbye:: Lighthouse is History
Yesterday was the final day.

25 years was a long time. I do thank all the staff we had over the years. #1 will certainly be Curtis (CJ) who for all of the years was the backbone and strength of our service. Marshall who was there for 24 years, as first a junior rigger and grew to be a fine technician. Vicki, who was Lighthouse in every way. Bobby, Bubba, Albert, David, John, our old partner Bill and so many others that were with us for some time over the years. We have appreciated Pat Morrow, who was our tenant, from the beginning and Bill White, who was there for many, many years as a tenant and a friend. We have some memorable things we will always have to look back on.

To all of you that were customers, some were there from the beginning to the very end, we thank you all for being there with us. We will not forget you and we hope you will remember us with nice thoughts.

May the future be healthy for all.

Sorry to say goodbye:: For those that know Jennybean
Lorne, I apologize, I assumed Jen would have told you.
She was pretty broken up when we IM'd, they were very close. You got that right, 49 is much too young.
Her SIL found him unconscious in a chair in the living room in the morning and EMS couldn't revive him.
Ian

Sorry to say goodbye:: So, who among you braved....
When they showed the Best Buy store near me with people lined up all the way around the store it pretty much convinced me to shop online.

They said at 2:45 a.m. people were lined up all the way the mall that is huge and 3 blocks from my house. We have to change our driving route once the X-mas season starts. We go in and out the back way when we go somewhere or you wait through police directing traffic for ever just to get anywhere. They close off the offramps and divert traffic to another freeway. It is easier to walk up there than try to drive cuz you can't find a parking place when you get there either. Point, click and ship have become my 3 favorite words.
